Another Howdy from North Texas and welcome to the forum. I was born and bred on the Muddy Red.

My cousin married a Bloke from Surrey. The first time my dad met him he said in his best hillbilly accent "Y'all show do talk funny!!" We all laughed.
Thanks Eterry. Funny!
and I recognise that quote from where I saw it quoted in "The World's Fastest Indian.

Thank you all, Gentlemen.

Dale, I have now fired Martini Henry in .22 and something round 357 (must check). the cadet rifle I shot was made for the Australian army and had a kangaroo engraved on top of the breech.
BTW, I was born in 1963! What brought you here?
The 310 was for Cadets close enough . thinkI did welcome you earlier From NZ cant see it might been a PM look see
Regards Rudyard

I was in the US Air Force for 22 years. I visited England and Scotland but not Ireland. I bought the Cadet from a company that imported discontinued arms. It was near perfect, but I made some changes. That son will be 70 in June. I think I am 'getting' old. I believe that round, similar to .357, was probably the .310 Greener we had. Dale
