Hello from south Louisiana

Just getting into blackpowder. Recently got an 1860 army and I got the bp bug now. I’m from Livingston parish Louisiana but stay in ascension now, oil rig worker. I really want to get a p53 enfield, probably next hitch off taylorfirearms. I bought the mold and lead kettle and have casted plenty .454 round balls for my 1860. I made the nitrated paper and made the cartridges but I must’ve put too much glue so that was a fail on most shot. Also got some slixshot nipples waiting on me at home that I’m eager to try out. Would love to connect with some other local blackpowder enthusiast. I know they got that place in Alexandria I’ll check out eventually but my time at home is limited right now. 3 weeks on 1 on off.
