Hello from South Georgia

Stumbled onto the forum as I prepare to get the old Hawken back out, dust it off and get back to my roots of still/stalk hunting deer and hogs along the local bottom lands.

Hunting with a primitive weapon, being face to face and on the ground with your quarry triggers my primal predatory instincts.

Looking forward to learning more about the old ways here from those who are like minded in regards to their weapon of choice.

Welcome Stetson from a Texan. Ive hunted around Milledgeville, fox and coyote with hounds, but the darned Deer kept getting in the way!!! Lots of good info here.
