You know the "argument" about the PA-KY rifles? They are truly PA rifles, because that's where they were "invented" and actually made, by hand. That they were found handy by guys going into the Kentucky area was great, but the inventors and makers made all that possible. The heart-land of PA, the York, the Lancaster, the Bucks, etc., etc. produced a great product at a great time. They would be gob-smacked at seeing all the nice rifles being reproduced and used to this day! JMHO

Welcome from Wyoming! A couple years ago I went with an ex girlfriend to that part of your state. Around wellsboro and antrum. Amazed by the beauty. Definitely want to make it back and hunt it bad! Without the ex girlfriend of course!😂 One of the most beautiful places I have ever seen, and that coming from someone that lives in the mountains of Wyoming.

Hello everyone from the mtns of west/central PA. I did a lot of muzzleloader shooting and hunting back in the late '70s-'80s. I am hoping to get back into it again. Am looking forward to learning from the knowledgeable folks on this forum.
Welcome from SEPA. I hunt the ANF in McKean Co. It's a challenge but the deer are there if you put time into it. I've gotten 3 deer with my Flintlocks since I started hunting with them in the late season. Last year was the first in the ANF.

Glad you like the area. As something of a western history buff I appreciate the beauty and history of your home state.
