Hello everybody, I am new to this Forum, been shooting muzzle loaders for 50 years. Enjoy the firearms and time periods from 1650 to 1870s. Especially F and I and Rev War. Been portraying a Rogers' Ranger for 40 years and CT Provincial for about 30. Hunt, shoot and enjoy period type scouts in authentic watercraft. Hope to learn and share here.

Hi Cowboy ,thank you for your kind words. I have a fair amount of primary source documentation for the F and I War in the Lake George theater. While records for this time period can be thin, there is enough information to verify issue of certain firearms / muskets to the Rangers. I will prepare a more detailed posting on the subject soon.
