Muzzleloader hunting (Deer, Elk & Antelope) is on my bucket list after I retired.
Currently have a T/C Hawken(not sure of year), it had a bad barrel and had it rebored from 50cal to 54cal by Mr. Hoyt. The stock is cracked and I am looking for a replacement stock.

Also have a Traditions Hawken 50cal kit (Christmas present) to put together yet.
Look forward to following the forums as a new hunter and shooter of BP.

Thanks for all your input. I am going to try to repair the stock.I also have a Traditions 50cal Hawken style kit my family got me for Christmas. Yet to start on it.

Mike, check out “flmlc.org” for a close by muzzleloader group. They have a nice range that during any scheduled shoot non club members can come. Some one there may even have a used stock they would part with.

Thanks, I do belong to FLMLC, nice range and helpful members.
