My name is George Riddle, just picked up my dad's 50 cal. that I haven't shot in over 30 years. Did some research and got some stuff and made some smoke fly.

I am a manager of a small DYI fishing lodge in Bristol Bay. Love fishing, hunting and wood working. Looking forward to sighting this gun in and possibly getting some permits for winter hunts. I am already learning much from this site. Thanks to all that share their knowledge of something that means much to them and others.

I winter in Wasilla and work for 3 Rivers Fly and Tackle. My bride is a teacher and Mat-Su Career Tech High School.

Hey George! Welcome aboard! Nice to see a familiar face. I'm the same BB on the AK site.

Good site and good folks here. Not many Alaskans with a traditional bent for some reason, but most I know have migrated here.

Welcome to the forum! I've always wanted to see Alaska...maybe one day.

Welcome to the Forum, George :hatsoff: , it's a good place to be.

The Wife and I were up in Alaska July, last year, for 3 weeks, and we loved it. Closest we got to your area was Anchorage and Seward. Farthest north was Wiseman.

George,
Welcome to the forum.Hope you will visit and
contribute often.
