I've been hunting and shooting some kind of projectile for about 30 years or so. I've had a percussion CVA Hawken/St. Louis/Frontier (not sure) rifle for many years but haven't shot it for a very long time due to the nipple being sheared off. I have an in-line CVA but it's just not as much fun for me to shoot, honestly. I've been thinking about getting back into traditional muzzleloading. I've been on the fence to either get a new barrel off of eBay for my old percussion or maybe even getting a Kentucky rifle kit.

Anyway, that's my story of why I'm here and can't wait to keep learning about this great past time and hopefully get to meet some good folks while I'm at it.
