Went on a scouting run to my hunting area this morning. Been very busy so far this spring and havent had any time to scout until now. Heard two distant gobblers on the far hillside. A good ways off but still promising. The area I hunt has been losing its turkey population over the last decade. Some years, I may not hear birds until later in the season. So this is a good sign.

Out season in Pa starts next Saturday.
