A new haversack style/forage bag I handmade, “inspired” by the late early 19th century hunting accoutrements. I have had many asking for Great Plains motifs…so here’s a Buffalo incorporated with Tribal designs and symbols. The bag is made from a natural tan wool fabric, and fully lined with an interior double pocket. All hand-stitching done with natural linen and hemp beeswaxed thread. The flap is brain tanned deer leather with a hand painted buffalo and tribal symbols.
The bag measures 8 1/2 x 10 1/2 . The handwoven wool strap has a black and white stripe pattern. These straps are expensive for me to purchase.
This would make a wonderful addition for anyone into Muzzleloading…hunting…reenacting...or as a beautiful wall hanging decor.
