I have for sale a Harpers Ferry 1803 that I recently completed building. It was a combination of parts from Track of the Wolf and The Rifle Shoppe. The rifle shoots great. The specifications are below.

Harpers Ferry 1803 Rifle
Flintlock
Brass Hardware
Walnut Stock
Brass Patch Box
Single Trigger
Davis HF 1803 Lock w/ some internals modified with Chambers parts
Colerain HF Barrel - Octagon to Round 33” Long
54 Caliber
Twist 1-56”
Drop Heel - 2 1/2”
Drop Comb - 1 1/4”
LOP - 13 1/2”
12-24 Rod Tip
Parts bought Feb. 7, 2020 (TOW & TRS)
Built by Bruce Hamlin and Completed March 5, 2020

The rifle has been function and test fired and shot great with a load of 60 gn's of Goex 2F, .530 round ball and a .18 thick lubed patch. The lock, trigger and barrel have been rust browned. The screws are fire blued. The vent liner is the Chambers White Lightin. The trigger function is very smooth. The Davis lock is also very smooth and functions reliable. The stock is a very good piece of Walnut. The patch box release is not traditional to the rifle, but is a system I find more reliable and less prone to accidental release. It appears that most suppliers are out of parts for their Harpers kit, so here is your opportunity to own a nice one.

I am asking $1,700 plus shipping and full insurance cost, which should be somewhere between $75-$100 as I only ship in a custom wooden crate. I will include some cast .530 balls, a few spare flints and some pre lubed patches. For payment, I accept cash, USPS Money orders or I can take a credit/debit card over the phone. Credit or debit card use will require an added fee of 3%. Feel free to contact me for discussion.

Below are the current pictures I have.

You did a beautiful job on this Bruce! If things weren't so crazy these days, I'd buy this back from you in a heart beat!
