I have a first edition I will sell you for $25 plus shipping, it is in almost new shape. I may have to buy a padded mailer to mail this book, I will include this cost in with the shipping which should be the cheaper media rate.

I hate to tell this on myself ; I bought a copy when I first started making flint rifles, one day in the shop I put it on the edge of my 55 gal trash can while I did something else and forgot about it. Apparently it fell into the trash can, when I pulled out the trash bag for trash pick-up I didn't notice it and off to the landfill it went.

I realized my mistake the next time I needed the book for reference. The first edition was out of print at the time and very scarce, some were going for hundreds of dollars on ebay. In a panic I checked TOW, they actually had a copy in stock at the original $40 something price so I ordered one immediately. The release of a second edition brought the price back down from the stratosphere.

I think I was on my third rifle at this time and realized I didn't need the book anymore, I pretty much had the process down so it has been in my workbench drawer unused since.
