Just to inform everyone ... with Brian Anderson retiring from full-time services (he'll still tinker ... ) if you need blacksmith or gunsmith services, one can also contact Jeff Miller of The Flintlock Forge. I am sure he has made matchlocks and I know he makes his own locks for flinters. I have a piece made by him from TRS parts and it's first class - you'd swear you were holding an original.

Biography:
Jeffrey A. Miller, Blacksmith/Historian, Flintlock Forge, Waldoboro, Maine. During his nearly 40 years at the trade, Jeff has worked as the head blacksmith at two museums, Old Sturbridge Village, Sturbridge, Mass. and Fort at No. 4, Charlestown, New Hampshire. Jeff apprenticed with master smith Frank Grapes of Brookfield, Mass. and master smith Dick Everett of East Haddam, Conn.
