i ordered gun parts from TOW, enough stuff to build a flintlock long gun, it came through customs with just a GST charge and a canada post $10 brokerage fee.
when you order a full length stock from TOW they charge you $163 usd to ship. so fill up the order to make it worth while. i guess its cheaper than driving down there to pick it up.
so there is no issues buying a gun kit from the US it is just going to cost you a bit to have it shipped.

it has incredible packaging and i doubt it could ever get damaged, unless driven over by a tractor.
this is how it is packaged.

What style and cal are you planning on building Old? Looking forward to in-build pic's. Still looking for a good trade gun in .62 myself.

I have brought a number of 'kits' from Pecatonica; never disappointed or concerned with their stuff, and as you said, it comes across the border hassle free, and arrived in good condition.
