Hello
Looking for help in id of grrw rifle. I believe it to be an indian trade model
54 caliber. Sn 141. Bill McGhee maker. Fancy wood. Full stock percussion cap. Anyone know more . pics to follow

It's a GRRW rifle. They called that model the Leman Indian Rifle. The half stock model was the Leman Trade Rifle. The standard model Leman Indian Rifle had a 1-1/16" x 30" barrel.

There was a Bill McKay and a Don McKee that stocked guns at Green River Rifle Works. You didn't show a picture of the makers mark, so I can't tell which one made the subject rifle.

Bill McKay's mark was like this.
