Hello...my name is Dave...my dad passed away and left me some firearms...im not really into muzzleloading anymore...I was a few years ago, but even then it was mostly muzzleloading rifles...well anyway, im trying to sell some of the muzzleloading revolvers he left me. I'm hoping to put any sales made towards a head stone or grave marker....thank you ! 👍

For sale : Griswold and Gunnison
It was purchased from a Civil War museum in Georgia that closed in the 70's...nice bore, action works great. Kinda heavy trigger. Grips show some shrinkage and has an old repair on one of the grips (see pic)
$700. Or best offer +$25 shipping

I have sold 2 other revolvers here recently..and I do have 100% feedback on eBay but i obviously can't sell them there.

I can do Venmo or face to face if you live nearby 👍
I will ship priority mail with tracking

Please message me with any questions

Best regards,
Dave

how bout a pic of the muzzle, the rear of the cylinder, and the bottom of the barrel with the loading lever down?
heres the pics of the Griswold you requested...theres an "A" on the barrel under the loading gate...an "A" on the cylinder...an "A" on the back of the frame...roman numerals XXIX on the inside grip frame which I just realized matches the 29 on the exterior trigger guard ..and "889" also on the grip frame
See pics
Regards,
Dave

I will buy this. PM me where to send funds. I'm assuming it is an original. Thank you.
Hello, I have no idea if this is original or not ...I know nothing about these firearms. This was my late dads revolver... so assume it is not original and hope for the best.
I accept "Venmo" or face to face.
Thanks for your interest.

Regards,
Dave

Thank you all for your replys...let me ask this...lets assume its a nicely done repo..whats it worth???
I mean, if its not an original it would still be the closet thing to a $40,000 original...its gotta be worth something correct?
