Good morning y'all,

I'm an archaeologist, historian, and a gunsmith working with John Zimmerman at Harper's Ferry. I'm currently writing a book covering the Virginia Manufactory Artillery Carbine, and Short Infantry Musket, and how their usage. It is written in a converational format. With all the various rabbit holes encountered with this kind of research, I have pretty much gave up on establishing deadlines... it will be finished when it is finished.

I'm also a competitive musket shooter with the N-SSA.

I have built a Georgia State Produced type collection for show and to help get people interested in history and black powder shooting. All of the arms in the collection are to be shot, not just look pretty. The collection provides the guests three main types/feels, a '55, 41, and Enfield, also rifle, carbine and smoothbore classes.

I look forward to our future discussions.

Joe
