I’ve been reacquiring an interest in BP. Several years ago I finished a CVA kit of an 1851 Navy that my father-in-law gave me. I fired it a few times but my interest never really took off. Last January I picked up an 1861 Navy by Pietta and then found a beat up CVA Hawken .50 at a pawnshop that I cleaned up. Last week I acquired a Traditions Kentucky .50 percussion pistol and really enjoy shooting it. Now I’m on the hunt for my first flintlock. Thinking about the Traditions Trapper. I’m looking forward to poking around this forum and seeing what I can learn.
