Hi all. Hoping to get involved with muzzloaders again. I got my first when I was about 12 (traditions deerhunter). Still have it plus another (CVA Hawken, I think. Haven't laid eyes on it in a few years) that I picked up for next to nothing. Unfortunately they stayed at my folks' home in Michigan before I moved up here over 10 years ago. Hopefully I'll have at least one of them shipped up in the next year.
A couple years ago I was almost set to order a flinter kit. Was wanting to build a transitional Jaeger type in .62 caliber to lay some heavy RB on moose. I think I'll just be content to lay one low with a heavy conical from my Hawken when I get it back.
