Finally got some range time with my GPR. She is a good shooter. Really looking forward to deer season.

I have a confession. I put a lyman peep sight on it. I was good out to 50 with the stock sights, but my eyes aren't what they used to be.

Excellent shooting! My Lyman GPR .50 Percussion is the most accurate caplock that I own. Off the bench at 25 yards, I can routinely put them in the same hole. :)

I'm still impressed -- I MIGHT be able to do that with a scope mounted on my muzzle loading rifle.

Since you mention it. After moving to 100 grains of powder. I am like you. Dead on at 100 and about 2 inches high at 50. I plan to work on tightening the groups now.
