Not bad for a bunch of production gun shooters. Congratulations to all.

38 MEDALS: 11 GOLD - 12 SILVER - 15 BRONZE

We had our fingers crossed for all the shooters participating at the 26th MLAIC World Championships in Granada from 28thSeptember - 5th October. Such a beautiful place to be. The Spanish people are so friendly, and the range's quality is up to the highest standards. The landscape with the Sierra Nevada in the background is just fabulous

Well done all! Pedersoli products still lead the replicas, and what a range of replicas they have, too. That Swiss flintlock sure caught MY attention.

Interestingly to note that there was nobody from the UK 'up there' in the medals.

Of course, it has nothng to do with the fact that in UK ANY firing replica of ANY BP firearm is treated exactly the same as a Barrett M107 or CheyTac anti-materiél firearm...so instead of having the easy walk-in/walk-out with your rifle that all our continental pals enjoy, providing that they are over 18 yo, here we have the nauseous business of double referee-ing, doctor's notes, 6 months 'noobieness'/compulsory membership of a club before we can even contemplate applying for the 'certificate'...

Great Britain actually had a very successful World Championship finishing third, behind Germany and Spain, in the overall medal table out of 24 nations. The GB medal winners were not using Pedersoli firearms which is why they don't feature in that company's news page...

Apologies, Sir, to all who took part in the UK team.

And many congratulations, too, doing so well in spite of the difficulties.

Sad but true mate! It could be worse as the politicians in Scotland are trying to introduce a airgun licence. Hey ho any chance of immigrating to US or Canada ?!! :haha:

Wait, we were looking at Scotland or England or Austalia! we think we could even learn the language. Well, not Scotish maybe...

Of the two, the U.S. has the more lenient gun laws. Canada is almost as strict as the U.K.

Scotland? Scotland, for crying out loud!!! If you can't handle grits, man, how are you going to manage to down a big plate of haggis. Well, I guess if you down enough Scotch whisky, you can get anything else down. Maybe haggis is the very reason they drink so much Scotch whisky anyway. :idunno:

Don't bother contemplating coming to Oztralia, mate, as air rifles are treated the same as .22 rifles and single/double barrel shotguns i.e. you need a licence! And they must be kept locked away. And the "ammunition" must be locked away (separately).

...and in Northen Ireland, while you can STILL have any kind of a handgun, ALL air-rifles above 1 Joule are class as firearms and need a firearms certificate...

In the Irish Republic, the same deal for airguns. The local Garda superintendent can also limit you to 100 'rounds' of airgun ammunition.... :shocked2:

Come on over! You're a little late, since all of your ancestors are likely here already, but there's always room for a few more :hatsoff:
