Hello folks,
This sale is for Canadians only as at this time I do not wish to play with shipping through customs.
I’ve a .54 cal Green Mountain IBS (drop in for TC Renegade or 1” Hawken barrel channel) 1:70 twist roundball right hand percussion barrel. It is 32” long (33” overall with breech) and 1” across the flats. This barrel has been shot and hunted with, and has taken several animals, including moose. It is straight octagon and very accurate with 110gr Goex 2fg and .530 prb. Only reason I am selling is that this barrel if becoming just too heavy, especially as I still have the original 26” .54 Renegade barrel. There are handling marks and safe kisses, the most notable are shown in the pictures below. The barrel rifling is crisp and clean, and I must apologize as my bore light batteries seem to be dying. Comes with what you see in the pictures. Ramrod has been replaced with one of those unbreakable type with the permanent jag on one end and threaded tip on the other. Sights are adjustable metal. Not sure what else to say. Price is $275 Canadian plus shipping. Located in Edmonton area for local transaction.

I would be all over that for a range/target barrel but I fully understand not wanting to mess with shipping to the states.

I just had someone from the great north send me a flintlock pistol and they shipped the lock separate. They said that mailing rifle parts is no problem. Pistols have issues.

Hey Walking eagle, I'm pretty close to you. just north and east. I'd love to have a close look at that barrel, I recently gave my renegade 54 cal to my stepson, but I'd love to get my hands on a PRB barrel for him. Can I come around and see it this week sometime? ( I have to squeeze my missus for the cash);)

I can meet up with you next Wednesday or Thursday. I'm tied up with work... I just checked with my "purchasing dept" she gives the go ahead to purchase that barrel from you for our boy's renegade.

You guys can continue the discussion here but it's a lot better to create a Private Message so you can hash it out privately without telling the rest of the world about it.

So how do you PM someone on this forum? What button do I press?:dunno:
Hold your cursor over the persons name or avatar picture. In the window that opens, select, "Start a Conversation".
Give the message a title and write whatever you want to say. When your done, poke the Start a Conversation button at the bottom of the page.

If you receive any new PM's, a red number will appear in the small envelope in the upper right hand side of your screen.
