While I sit here waiting on the UPS driver to deliver my Traditions Crockett kit, I find myself dreaming of future adventures chasing them pesky squerlz. My thoughts drift to the outing type and how will it play out for a day in the field. I'm not a period correct type person as more than likely, I won't meet someone in the field. I mix and match and I'm pretty sure the critters don't care how I look! Especially if they are looking at the business end of my critter gitter! 😁 Anyway, while musing on these things, I thought about how I'd carry my bushcraft gear along with my muzzleloading gear. I'm a wannabe bushcrafter too! Not sure how a day pack would interfere with a possibles bag and powder horn. Maybe not to much but, I want to have everything I may need just in case the urge to create a small fire and open roast one of those buggers up for some lunch and coffee.

Do you pack anything else for a day hunt besides your possibles bag and horn? If so, feel free to share your thoughts and method of madness. I recently picked up this little Fjallraven 21 pack and it's the perfect size for a day in the field. As soon as I have all my muzzleloading gear together, I'll see how the combo works out.
