This rifle was built in the 70's. I bought it from the makers widow along with a 50 cal Hawken. Didn't like the stock that was on it so I had Jackie Brown disassemble and replace with a new curly maple stock. Curl is not as vivid as I would have liked but will become more defined as it ages. Comes with a 44 inch Douglas straight barrel, I believe 7/8 or 13/16 inches. We believe the lock and trigger are from, R. E. Davis. Lock is strong and sparks really well. Uses a medium or 3/4 inch flint. Butt plate, thimbles, muzzle cap and lock plate are German Silver. Included are accessories such as German Silver and Brass Jags, ball starter, pan charger, loading block, extra in the white hickory ramrod with multiple German silver ramrod tips, bore scraper, lubed patches and possibles bag. $1,450 shipped. USPS money order. Shipped insured upon receipt.
