Hi, I'm Dan and a gunpowder-aholic, (crowd replys: Hi Dan) How does one introduce themselves among other gun nuts. Long time shooter, pistol mostly, Distinguished Pistol and distinguished revolver, only need another 26 points for my rifle distinguished. Retired Navy 1997, and as of 2021 retired civilian. Have been known to bring home any old worn out .22 rifle because it was "unloved." Dabble in black powder now and then. Smart enough to know my creative limitations and have not tried to build a rifle. Have visited Friendship. (twice) Enjoy traveling the US with spouse. Her recent interest in Civil War battlefields & history sparked my interest in muzzle loaders again. Sort of looking for a repo 1766 Charleville musket with my interest in Revolutionary War history.
