How many use a flintlock smoothbore for squirrel hunting? What caliber/gauge and what shot size do you like?

Capt. William

.75 brown bess for squirrels... :winking:

3 drams FFg powder (82 grains)
One .125 over powder card
One 1/2 fiber wad
1 1/4 ounce of #6 shot
One thin over-shot card to hold it all in place

Can shoot squirrels all day with this light field load...
