This is our standard flint and steel kit with the smaller, tinderbox size striker. The striker is hand forged high carbon steel, expertly hardened and quenched. They make a shower of sparks hot enough to catch an ember in the un-charred organic tinders we recommend. The kit is provided with a roll of charcloth, jute nesting fiber and instructions.
