In most cases these cameras are taking video at 60 frames per second in slow motion. You have pan flash in one frame and the ball has left the barrel in the next frame, 0.0167 seconds later. That's consistent with Larry Pletcher's time line for a fast lock.
Some amazing pictures, I still have trouble making calls with my phone. When I learn how to post pictures I will show some the dents in the wall from my phone.
