Since getting my first flintlock I have been making my own accessories and accoutrements. I just finished my powder horn which is a tribute to my 5th Great Grandfather who fought in the Revolutionary War. I used reclaimed wormy chestnut for the plug since it was an abundant native hardwood in West Virginia, where my family settled. I used an antique drawer pull for the strap mount.

I like that drawer knob as a strap mount on the plug. Most seem to put a staple (a bent nail actually) on theirs. I like some ''individuality", they surely didn't all look alike.
