Bought a pedersoli north west trade gun kit and finished putting it all together earlier. Its my first flintlock and introduction into blackpowder shooting. Im not a carpenter by trade so it was definitely a learning experience. I think it turned out pretty well for a first time build.

You know... that's a real fine job my friend, and the only criticism I have on it is that I have never seen a trade gun so "blonde" like that before. IMO, if you darken that baby up a fair bit, it will be mint! Just my personal opinion, but other than that, I congratulate you good fellow!!!

Thanks yall I appreciate it. I put 2 coats of w
50/50 water walnut stain and then put 6 coats of tru oil on. It turned out better then I thought

Very nice.
I assembled mine from T.O.W. components about 15 years ago. I enjoy shooting it, usually solid ball. I will occasionally fire shot gun loads.
