Thanks Appalachian! Yea I hope build it!Beautiful work.
A scratch built fowler is on my short list.
Yep it has cast off shoulders very nicely.Nice job. Curious about tang on trigger guard behind the bow. Seems to be bent to accomodate cast off for right hand shooter. Does the stock have cast off? Also looks tweaked from image of underside.
What a beauty! And that bag matches it well!!!Here are some pics of my Jim Chambers PA Fowler I just finished up. I started this build in June of 2021 after I picked up my Kit from Jim and Barbie at the NMLRA nationals in Friendship IN. It has been a great experience and I have learned so many new skills during this project. I owe a lot to my friend and mentor Jeff Talbert. I visited his shop on many occasions where he taught me everything from inletting to carving. Dave Person has also been a great resource with his extensive knowledge of these early smoothbore fowlers.
I have included a link to my "build along" thread at the bottom.
I hope you enjoy the pictures!

My next build Jim Chambers PA Fowler
I picked up my PA Fowler Kit in .62 cal or 20 gauge from Jim and Barbie Chambers at Friendship. They are wonderful folks. I had the pleasure of having dinner with them over at their camp site one night. This is going to be my squirrel, Turkey and maybe even try to bag a Deer gun. I'll also use...www.muzzleloadingforum.com
