First deer with 54 smoothbore flintlock. Was a lyman deerstaker but changed to a 54 smoothbore rice barrel and a few other changes. LOVE This gun. Now on to spring Turkeys.
 
Good shootin' :hatsoff: How far was she? and what was the load? Now to make that gun a full stock! :hmm: BTW, I like that color brown on that barrel!.
 
It turned out to be a button buck. Was about 50 yards and I was just standing out in the open. Used 80 gr. FFF and a 28 gauge nitro wad behind a bare .535 ball I had made last week. The brown lmf from totw.
