Sometimes it's awfully hard to climb out of that warm bed after days of not seeing any deer...but you can't get them if you're not out there. Congrats on your sticktooitiveness! That is a hard-earned trophy right there. 
P.S. If DNR's said the deer population was down/poor they wouldn't sell as many licenses! They wouldn't want that to happen now would they!
