I'm another one that bought a Traditions Kentucky Kit. I have been working on it since before Christmas but now I think I have it like I want it. I got rid of brass spacer and formed a piece of steel to help blend in stock pieces. Browned the barrel with BC Plum brown and used Fiebing's medium brown leather dye in the wood. Swapped out an l& r rpl lock I had on a cva mountain rifle and altered a marbles buckhorn rear sight to fit and match browned barrel also put on trade gun side plate (because I had one). Also used about 8 coats of Tung oil on wood finish. Thanks for looking.
