Very good re-creation of a Fench/Indian era fort rebuilt/opened in 2019 located in Statesville NC.

From the website (Fort Dobbs) events page:
On February 27th, 1760, the garrison of Ft. Dobbs engaged in a night-time skirmish with Cherokee warriors.

This living history event will highlight what life was like for those involved on both sides though on-going displays of barracks life, as well as scheduled historic weapons demonstrations.

Saturday, 10am-4pm. Free admission, donations appreciated

I have driven down 77 many times over the years and seen the sign for the Ft. and always said I need to stop sometimes and never did. Looking forward to seeing it, looks like a lot of effort went in to recreating the fort. Hope to go with my son and granddaughters Saturday. I seen your post for the Yadkin Valley Longrifles shoot, I hope I can make it up that way one month as well.
