This is an excellent, near new in box .50 Lyman Plains Pistol. Possibly from a kit, as it has a nice, deep brown finish. Wood, metal and bore are all excellent. Possibly unfired, but certainly fired very little. Has belt hook and simple sights, as it should. Comes with manual and cleaning jag. $300 + Shipping.

I have a couple of Italian replicas that have the number in a box like that. One has a 19, one has a 20, and one has a 21. I believe it is the date of manufacture. Those were the years that I bought them in as well.

Thanks. I have gotten so used to the Roman Numeral or letter codes that it did not occur to me that they may be changing format.
