Never shot this pistol. It was a safe queen. $250.00 plus shipping and insurance costs DSCN0965.JPG DSCN0965.JPG DSCN0966.JPG DSCN0969.JPG DSCN0971.JPG DSCN0980.JPG

For everyone's wealth of knowledge, the XXX marking indicates this pistol was made in 1974. That is a 45 year old unfired pistol.

When a single shot pistol says .44 caliber, is that a .45X ball like a revolver or is it like a rifle using .430 ball?
Usually a single shot pistols barrel is the same as a single shot rifles barrel so the bore size is the size stamped on it.
a .44 caliber barrel has a .440 diameter bore so a .430 or .435 diameter patched ball would be used.

Oldhickory,
If still for sale.
I'll take the pistol.
I need to set up the particulars about completing the sale. Would you send a PM so that this can be set up?

I am holding the flintlock pistol for GA Ranger pending receiving the funds. As to the size of the round ball I do not know as I have never shot this pistol, just scratched a few sparks. It has been a safe queen for the last 7 years.
