Hello friends,
I have for sale an English trade knife (scalping knife ) that I just finished. It is a well researched and historically accurate representation. It features a 7-1/4" long blade of 1084 high carbon steel with a partial tang just like the originals. The blade is 2.43mm at the thickest point and 1-1/8" wide. The handle is made from cocobolo in the octagonal shape and has 3 steel pins that are 1/16" diameter, but because I peen all my pins, they look closer to 3/32". Overall length is 11-3/4". The handle is sealed from moisture, but still retains the historically accurate "gap" on the underside which can be filled with resin upon the buyer's request. It comes with a center seam sheath made from premium oak tanned leather, hand sewn with pure linen thread.
More pics available upon request.
Asking $165 with shipping included to anywhere in Canada or the US. I am open to shipping internationally.
Thanks for looking!
