Knife is 8-3/4” overall, with a 4-7/8” by 1-1/4” wide 1095 high carbon steel blade, that is 3/32” thick. Yes….there is rust on the blade, it’s Carbon steel: it rusts, but I’ll remove it before I ship it. Blade is Forge blued, and SHARP!!!!! The handle slabs are Tiger Striped Curly Maple held on with (2) Iron pins. The handle is sealed with Linseed oil, then waxed and buffed to a satin finish.
The sheath is 7/8 oz. Vegetable tanned; top quality Cow hide. It’s all hand stitched with natural color artificial sinew in an X pattern for an authentic PC appearance. It has a 2-3/8” belt slot.
This knife will set you apart from others in your Fur Trapper/Mountain Man camp.
