double barrel 12..england stamped on barrels,,
a friend jus picked one up, was wonderin if anyone had any info,,heard of it? thanks!
 
There were many many makers of DB S/S English shotguns for the hardware trade.
I used to own an 11gauge Smith and Squires- London.
Squire was the English maker while Smith was most likely the U.S. importer.
So many were made that the hardware variety percussion doubles are among the most affordable original era guns.

With that said collector value is pretty low unless it's something special.
