This was Hopkins and Allen's answer for making it easy to get into muzzleloading in the late 60s. It is a perfectly contoured muzzleloading barrel that drops in to a 1873 Springfield trapdoor stock. Change out hammers and you have a .45 muzzleloading rifle. The metal is probably 95%+. Has a Williams rear peep and ramp front sights. Bore bright and shiny. 1:66ish twist. Comes with percussion hammer that fits on existing lock. Unique and scarce. $300 + Shipping.
