I just recently received notice on the passing of Nebraska native & long time muzzleloader Don Strinz. I met him in the 70's and he was very active in the Nebraska Muzzleloading Rifle Association. Don was a true muzzleloader from the word go. His longtime business of Lease a Lodge was known all over. If you needed a primitive camp, Don was the guy to see.
He passed on April 12, 2019.
    May God rest his soul!

I never met him. But one look at that face and you know that there were countless stories to be told. I count this as my loss.

    Grieve well for your friend.

Sorry for your lost, looks like he would have been a good hombre to share a fire with.

Well damn... That is sad news.
I met Don a few times here in Kansas and he was a heck of a nice guy and fun to camp with.
And,yes, he had countless stories to tell...

Sorry hear that. I drank a couple mint juleps with him at the last HPRR last year.

Really sorry to see this. I've both leased lodges and bought them from him. He was certainly one of the good guys.
