Just to stir the pot i didn't see anyone bring up the real elephant in the room -- inflation. Just in last 3 years everything costs so much more.
I must though, black powder, at least at my No. 1 particular store, has been the same price for several years now. A lb costs $19.99

For the most part mobsters targeted mobsters. Police were out of bounds, as were families of targets. Hitting a reporter (they had them then) was taboo. Other than turf wars, nothing in common with today's thugs. Back then, your wife could walk down the street in complete safety. Kids could play hopscotch on the sidewalk. I've read MOST of the posts. Seems like folks either can't find any or have to drive a long distance to buy a small amount. Well I ordered 25# Goex from TOW @ $24.52 a pound, hazmat and shipping included. No driving, no searching high and low. They sell Swiss as well. What's the issue?:dunno:
