Friends, our 2nd Amendment rights are always under attack and the NRA has been a constant for decades in helping fight that fight.
We have partnered with the NRA to offer you a discount on membership and Muzzleloading Forum gets a small percentage too of each membership, so you are supporting both the NRA and us.
I just bought a dgw 45cal Pennsylvania rifle in percussion. One reason I bought it was dixie has kits to change over to flintlock. I called dixie and they don't have them anymore so I need to find one close. thanks for any help. Bruce
It is possible that L&R has a replacement lock for the Dixie Pennsylvania Rifle. @VAN just did the conversion on his Dixie Tennessee Rifle as mentioned in the Kentucky Lock Replacement Thread by @Flintlock Whiskey. Who manufactured your rifle. Dixie may have imported their rifle from Pedersoli and L&R has a replacement for some of the Pedersoli locks. Do any of the L&R RPL locks look like the lock on your rifle? Might be worth a call to L&R.
