Dixie Gun Works Pennsylvania style rifle, .45 cal percussion, I bought this rifle new I think in 1969,,hunted with it a few years and went to a Hawken,,it has not been shot in years,,gun still looks good,,it has a 3 digit serial number,,$800.00 plus shipping, I tried to load some pictures but did not succeed,,if anyone is interested in this ill try again or I can pm or text you some

Me too,,I drove up to DGW I think 1970 and got this rifle, Ive harvested just about everything this Great state has to offers ,,I think I still have one of those catalogues from that era,,im my dads youngest son and he used to talk about me hunting with something that they were getting away from when he was a boy
 
Boy, isn’t that the truth. We’re throwbacks to another era. I can vividly remember paging thru the old DGW catalogs over and over. Nice rifle for sure Wynne.
