This is a beautiful Tennessee Valley Muzzleloader that I had built about ten years ago and have used less than I should have. I’m now ensconced in a suburban condo and don’t have any time to shoot. No wall space to display it so I’m letting it go.

It’s a Late Lancaster model in 54cal with a 36” barrel and German silver furniture. It has the deluxe maple upgrade, a truly beautiful piece of tiger maple. (I hope it comes out well in the pictures. I’m not a gifted photographer.)

It is convertible for use with both the flint and percussion locks shown. Both are Siler.

It has no issues and has been well taken care of. PM me if you have any questions. I’m asking $1400 plus shipping (insured) from Vermont zip code 05446.

Note that I have a similar rifle in curly maple with brass furniture I will be listing separately.

This barrel is straight, not swamped. The length of pull is 13 1/8"

Yes I still have that. In fact I was just going to lower the price to $1300 to sweeten the deal. Shoot me a PM if you want to chat about it.

Ben
Thanks. I'm seriously interested in this rifle (or the other one you have listed as well), but I won't have the funds for at least a couple of weeks, (I'm getting a pension payout by the end of the month, just to show I'm not blowing smoke). I wouldn't expect you to pass up an opportunity to get cash in hand, if someone else showed interested, but if you still have it by then, I'm going to bite. Take care and thanks again.

That is a beautiful rifle and I'm interested in it. How does it shoot? Also, tell me about the sights. My eyes aren't what they used to be...

Thanks. I've always been pleased with how it shoots. I never did much load development work with it. But with 80-90 grains of FF and a .530 patched ball I didn't have much trouble keeping things within a few inches out to 75 yards.

The front blade is .095" wide. The rear sight is U shaped, cut to allow a little daylight on either side of the blade. In my experience that makes it faster and easier to line up.
