Spotted a buck with a doe in tow at 8:45. No clear shot. Made a couple grunt calls. The buck lifted his head as I sat as still as possible. They turned west and disappeared into the woods.

Movement to the west. Then the sound of antlers clacking. Deer spotted but too far into the woods to see anything very well. Waiting...

Temperature is 45 degrees. Wind is very light. I heard several shots from other hunters in the area this morning. It's very quiet and peaceful now.

A nice buck just walked by very quickly. I tried a grunt call to get his attention. He just kept moving. Dang no clean shot!

Spotted this Doe. Called her right up to my blind. She was about 6 feet away sniffing the air for a while looking right at me then walked away. I hunting for a buck today.
That is exiting to hear! Looks like a real nice spot. They seem to be moving around. Best of luck!

Unbelievable! About 1.5 hours ago a nice buck walks by. I hit the call. He stopped. I take the shot, but I felt it was high. He walks about 25 feet, and right behind him walks up another buck and this guy is big. I loose sight of the one I shot at. The other stands there for a little while then walks off. I found tracks but no blood. I track him for a while. No blood. I think I shot high and missed him.

Checked one more time for blood. Wouldn't want to leave a wounded deer out there. Found where my ball struck the tree behind where he was standing. It was definitely high. That's a relief.

Decided to move outside behind natural blind to get a bit closer to the deer trail.
I hope it works out for ya, I'm on the edge of my seat here haha Sounds like a great time.
