Went south for The winter And found a pawn shop with a mountain rifle For $ 275 ,Very good shape Over all . It is missing one of the barrel wedges . Its just not in me to not try and get a better deal . what price would you offer ? Thanks all. FBC

You might ask how long it's been there. That will usually determine how willing they are to deal. However, I wouldn't leave without it.

That’s not a bad price, you could offer $250, but I’d buy it regardless.

Many Southern pawnshops are old ways and do not post stuff online. Great price. Remember the Shop probably paid a hundred bucks or less. The Captain probably left money on the table by not bargaining hard. But, it remains a great buy.

Forgot to add that it is a .50 and the barrel looks browned . They also had a Hawken type rifle with no writing on it except the serial number . Asking $350 , rusty inside the barrel. FBC

Just offer $200 all they can say is no then see what He counters with and work from their. Don't pay full price then kick yourself thinking you could have bought it for less. Seems some on here don't have the knack for dickering

I would get it and forget trying to get a better price. It is a steal already.
