Got sent one of these to begin a fairly steep learning curve vis: Flintlocks. This one has a lock plate just like my old percussion CVA mountain pistol- internal sear engagement adjustment screw that really works. The barrel is marked "Jukar." I did some shooting with it today and started to learn where to position the flint for ignition. Later I leanred that that nice thin tanned leather wrap for the flint was actually a band-aid and I suspect the thing will work better with the flint actually held in place by good leather.

Best group at 18 steps makes me believe I will be able to learn to shoot these things.
