Got asked to post pics of the gun.

The corrosion you see on the barrel is from being stored in a soft case that happened to have had a leaking roof drip on it at our old camp. We didnt discover the damage to later on. Its pitted But I think it will clean up fine. Touch up with a re-blu of the area for protection.

Those sights are coming off rest assured.

Wet rifle case??? CHEAP skin soft case, rifle pulled out at the range and the rifle was "literally" DRIPPING WET!! :eek: :eek:
Just the temp change from inside the house to outside at the range. Never would have believed it if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes.
Good reason for a hose down with WD 40 to drive out any moisture, THEN a good dose of any "good" gun oil. :thumb::thumb:
